A review of photoelectron spectroscopic methods using vacuum UV (VUV) and X-ray excitation,
describing the characteristics of the current instrumentation and the resulting spectra.
Various areas of application, such as determination of ionization energies,
investigation of electronic structure, and analytical applications are discussed.
